Whin Floor Cottage - Sleeps 6

This peaceful rural retreat is beautifully designed and located close to the village of Sawdon, in-between the popular market town of Pickering with its famous North York Moors Steam Railway and the attractive coastal spa town of Scarborough.  Surrounded by open countryside and close to Wykeham and Dalby, it is something of a walker’s and cyclist’s heaven. Just up the road is a popular bird watching view point with regular sightings of honey buzzards, turtle doves and nightjars to name a few.
Guests are welcomed into this attractive stone built cottage by a spacious hallway leading through to a wonderful lounge/diner; the french doors lead onto a rear patio garden with panoramic views over open countryside. Enjoy cosy evenings in front of the stove or on a beautiful summer’s day, open the french doors to extend into the garden.
The country kitchen with its range cooker and homely fittings overlooks the pretty yard garden with its attractive chestnut trees.
On the first floor there are two attractively decorated king sized bedrooms with en suite bathrooms (one with a shower over the bath). On the ground floor there is a generous sized superking ( or can be twin bedded) bedroom  with en suite walk in shower.  In addition, there is a ground floor cloak room.

There is off road parking with ample space for three cars.

Auburn House - Sleeps 8

This stunning property is situated in the delightful village of Beadlam, close to the attractive market town of Helmsley with  its imposing castle, award winning walled garden and plenty of independent shops, galleries, cafes and restaurants .It is also close to the North York Moors, Castle Howard, Nunnington Hall and within easy travelling distance of the spectacular East Yorkshire Coast and the historical roman city of York.

Auburn House is an attractive stone built property offering high-quality accommodation for 8 guests.

The farmhouse kitchen is beautifully appointed with a range cooker suitable for cooking for a large number of guests; with its substantial dining table and comfy sofa it lends itself to cosy gatherings around the log burning stove.A useful utility room leads off the kitchen.

Visitors can relax in the attractive lounge with ample comfy seating, character fireplace with gas fire and enjoy the smart TV.

To complete the ground floor accommodation is a generous shower room with walk in shower, WC and wash-hand basin and adjoining pretty double bedroom with a super king bed ( zip/link can be twin on request) overlooking the front garden.

Upstairs are a further 3 bedrooms, 1x twin, 1x double and 1x king size with en-suite shower, wash-hand basin and WC. All the bedrooms enjoy lovely views over the garden or village. There is a well-appointed family bathroom with bath, wash-hand basin and WC.

Outside, there is ample parking for several cars and a traditional English cottage garden.

The patio area can be enjoyed for a relaxing morning coffee or a celebratory glass of wine after an enjoyable day's sightseeing.

1 Chapel Terrace - Sleeps up to 4

This characterful cottage is nestled in the quaint village of Ebberston in North Yorkshire, between Scarborough on the coast which is just a 20-minute drive away and the picturesque market town of Pickering on the edge of the North York Moors National Park.

Standing for over 200 years beside the village church, this delightful cottage is in a charming village location complete with a friendly little pub nearby. The cottage boasts an incredible large enclosed garden, bursting in colour throughout spring and summer, with a seating area so that you can dine al fresco or simply bask in the sunshine as you take in your surroundings.

Pickering is just a short drive away, where you can catch the steam train across the stunning National Park to the historical coastal town of Whitby.

Famous for its abbey and the 199 steps leading up to it, Whitby is full of charm, with cobbled streets and alleyways, a bustling harbour, cosmopolitan café and bistros. It is also famous for the Whitby Jet jewellery, where you’ll find lots of jewellers creating beautiful bespoke items.

The seaside resorts of Filey and Scarborough are just a short drive away. Scarborough is the larger of the two resorts, with a very long promenade that you can walk on, from the north to the south bay, where the castle stands proud on the headland dividing the two bays. There are donkey rides, amusements, the Sealife centre, a waterpark with a spa, and Peasholm Park, an oriental themed municipal park also host to the largest outdoor theatre in Europe. Filey is a much quieter resort, with a large sandy beach perfect for families. Or for a big day out York is perfect all year round, with a fascinating history to discover. Visit one of the many museums, or perhaps Castle Howard. Whether you want to visit the Yorkshire Wolds, North Yorkshire Moors or the east coast you are perfectly placed.
