Sawdon Heights farm is situated close to Wykeham Forest and between the picturesque market town of Pickering and the spa resort of Scarborough on the East Coast road A170. We are ideally located for exploring the North Yorks Moors with its nostalgic steam railway, Dalby Forest and the spectacular East Coast as well as well as being within easy reach of major attractions in North Yorkshire.

The farmhouse accommodation offers guests a private lounge/dining room and the choice of three beautifully styled double/twin rooms, all with spacious en-suite facilities catering for everyone's needs, in addition the ground floor bedroom offers spacious disabled facilities.

On arrival you will receive a warm Yorkshire welcome and greeted with home-baked fare. To start the day, enjoy an award winning hearty farmhouse breakfast sourced from local producers, with a good selection of Fresh fruit, cereals and yogurts for all tastes. (Special diets can be catered for by prior arrangement) The breakfast and lounge area offers plenty of space for relaxing and patio doors open onto the south facing patio and garden with spectacular views overlooking the Yorkshire Wolds and the Vale of Pickering. On cooler evenings you can enjoy the cosy warmth of the lounge with its cast-iron stove.

The three double rooms all have individual character:-

Greenlands

This first floor bedroom is of a generous size with an ornate roll top bath and shower en-suite. There are stunning views over to the East Coast, Yorkshire Wolds and Vale of Pickering.

Broats

This spacious bedroom is also on the first floor with an ornate iron bedstead with its bathroom/shower spacious en-suite overlooking the pretty yard garden and its mature chestnut trees.

Moorsome

This easy access ground floor double/twin room with six foot bed(s) has a large en-suite shower/wet room to include disabled facilities. There is a large window giving wonderful views over the surrounding countryside.

All rooms have tea and coffee making facilities (with home-made biscuits), Digital TV/ DVD and hair dryer.

Prices from £32.50 per person per night.
Children over ten are welcome at a reduced rate.
We regret that no pets are allowed in the farmhouse.
